Invitation to nature restoration event along the rivers

Ekstremsportveko is testing something new this year to follow up on the well known slogen Leave nothing but footprint. We would therefor like to invite you to join a nature restoration volunteer morning on monday 22nd of june, from 09.30 – 12.30. Breakfast included. 

Join us for a hands-on conservation effort as we remove Himalayan balsam (kjempespringfrø), an invasive plant species that poses a significant threat to local river ecosystems. It is easy work and no previous experience or equipment is needed. 

For each participant, 450 NOK will be donated directly to the protection work of the Raundal River by Voss Elveklubb.

The long term goal is to involve more and more participants for a few hours during the festival – to give a little something back to the local nature 🙂
